Kompal Welfare Trust, founded in 2005, is a non-profitable organization works with children from under privileged sections background living in slums, peri urban areas of Allahabad. The trust works with an aim of transforming the lives of those who are not thought about by the privileged classes of the society.

In India, Child labour cannot end untill poverty ends. But on the other hands poverty is itself a function of human capital development. As child labour hinders the process of human capital formation, the continuance of child labour due to poverty helps perpetuate it. This social crisis could be solved by by empowering these helpless children in terms of education, health and income. Realising this as a solution to the problem of child labour, (Illeteracy, ignorance and poverty) KOMPAL WELFARE TRUST adopted the principal of 'service at their door step'.
